What's the Problem?

Pests’ resistance to agrochemicals and inefficient biological solutions are a global crisis. Farmers lose billions and our food supply is at risk. Our first development targets HLB, the most devastating disease in citrus.

How are they Solving it?

We modify specific plant odors using phytostimulants during plant’s vulnerable periods to control pests. This manipulation alters pest behavior, making the plants we aim to protect less attractive compared to trap lures. This method effectively controls various insect pests, including vectors of plant diseases, such as psyllids responsible for citrus greening disease (HLB). It leaves no residues, can be integrated into pest management practices, and avoids the development of pest resistance.
