GRIDX Grievance Mechanism
As part of compliance with the SGAS, GRIDX’s grievance mechanism must be published on the website.
1. Eligibility and process for submitting a grievance:
Please review the following guiding questions before submitting your grievance:
- Does the grievance refer to a project or company (startup) that has received investment and support from GRIDX? If in doubt, you can check the updated list of startups invested in by GRIDX at the following link: https://www.gridexponential.com/portfolio.
- Does the potential impact or harm relate to environmental or social issues covered by GRIDX’s Environmental and Social Management Policy? You can access the policy at this link.
- Have you already tried contacting the project’s direct representatives? If you believe that doing so could compromise your safety and/or you fear possible retaliation for expressing your grievance, you may contact GRIDX directly.
2. Requirements for submitting a grievance:
- The claimants must be two or more persons potentially affected by the project/startup and residents of the country where the project operates.
- The grievance cannot be anonymous and must include the names and contact information of all claimants. If a representative submits the grievance on behalf of the claimants, they must have written authorization from all parties.
- The alleged harm must be related to a project directly financed by GRIDX within the past 24 months.
3. Submit your grievance in writing, in Spanish or English, via email or postal mail, with the subject line “GRIEVANCE (Startup name)”.
