By actively visiting research institutes, labs, and universities, scouting for researchers eager to make an impact, we deep dive into their most promising research. At the same time, we seek out ambitious founders with a passion for science and a strong grasp of venture capital.

Every year, we screen 900+ scientific projects and 200+ business entrepreneurs. From these, we select 24 scientific breakthroughs and 24 business co-founders to move forward.

Caspr Biotech is pioneering next-generation molecular diagnostics by harnessing CRISPR and novel Cas enzymes. Their portable, low-cost platform enables rapid detection of infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance, delivering results in under an hour without the need for centralized laboratories.

Beeflow is a biotechnology company that provides professional pollination services to farmers for maximizing crop yield potential and fruit quality. They developed a platform of proprietary technologies to address pollination challenges as well as pollination efficiency data analysis for managing pollination during blooming.

Michroma is creating the next generation of natural ingredients by harnessing the power of fungi—nature’s most efficient biofactory. Through advanced bioinformatics and synthetic biology, Michroma engineers high-performance microbial platforms to produce novel ingredients in a sustainable, cost-effective way.

OncoPrecision uses a first-principles approach to address the biological complexity of cancer drug development. By leveraging patient-derived data early in the process, they build a pipeline of therapeutic antibodies aimed at areas of high unmet clinical need—ensuring more targeted, effective treatments before reaching the clinic.

Their proprietary technology enables the creation of high-performance, bio-based eutectic solvents using natural compounds—turning solids into functional liquids for applications across food, cosmetics, pharma, and beyond.
