What's the Problem?

The consumption of the new trend of plant-based foods represents an alert to the population because a diet based only on plants causes nutritional deficiencies. An example is minerals like Iron, where 40% of the global population suffers due to lack of this mineral and within them 50% is due to iron deficiency intake, causing problems in the population like heart diseases, growth retardation in children, respiratory difficulties, among others. Even though today there are alternatives to deal with this problem, such as food supplements and some fortified foods with traditional salts, these present a low absorption in the body, due to the size of the molecule, being very inefficient and expensive for the consumer. It is for this reason that it's urgent to find a fast and efficient alternative that allows nourishing adequately the consumer of this new worldwide trend.
